Inspiring the next generation of off-road enthusists

Rubicon Jamboree is excited to announce "Jamboree Camp Rubicon", a special segment of Rubicon Jamboree in Rubicon Springs just for kids! Jamboree Camp Rubicon’s mission is to motivate and encourage the next generation of off road and outdoor enthusiasts. We sponsor programs such as “Tread Lightly!” where children learn outdoor ethics and stewardship practices. We offer hands on activities, nature hikes, survival skills, and informative discussions relating to responsible recreation. Jamboree Camp Rubicon aims for children of all backgrounds to enjoy our natural surroundings and learn how to preserve them for years to come.

Jamboree Camp Rubicon will be held for kids 6-17 years of age. The Jamboree Camp Rubicon program offers a variety of hand on activities, all while educating our future users of the trail. Saturday will start off with a journey through the history of the Rubicon Trail and Rubicon Springs by Rick Morris; continuing the morning with a informative hike with the Tread Lightly staff to the amazing historical Stone Cabin. We are excited to offer a hands-on experience off-roading with an RC “Tread Lightly!” course and other survival activities. To top off the fun we will have a movie night, raffle, and special entertainment for kids.
